Hey dudes and dudettes! First of all, to update you about my life, I went to the Congress of Leaders of PR last week and it was fun. Though at times boring, it was pretty nice. No senior guys, which was very, VERY sad, but alas, the ones that were there were cool.
So, because I'm just that awesome, I briefly appeared in the 4 o' clock news, online, and in the most-read newspaper here in PR. :P

---The Congress of Leaders visits El Nuevo Dia (newspaper)
AidaManduley, an outstanding student from Colegio Rosa Bell in Guaynabo, never imagined the impact that participating in one of the editions of the Congress of Leaders would have on her life.
The teenager, who's interested in studying Communications, had the opportunity to listen to Joe Ramos from Televicentro and Carlos Nido, vicepresident of sales and marketing in El Nuevo Día, talk about what it means to be a leader, on both an individual level and in the communications industry.
"What impressed me the most was the relevance of the Congress in my life", expressed an enthusiastic Manduley, after Nido's lecture ended.
Another one of the speeches that impacted her a lot was that of the representative Víctor García San Inocencio (He's the rep. of the pro-independence party in Puerto Rico in the house of representatives). "He made us question why we wanted to be leaders, what were our goals, what motivates us to serve, and where we want to go," manifested Manduley. --
ANYHOO. HALLOWEEEEEEEEN.
I went to a party at my Spanish teacher's house on Saturday and to another party at Old San Juan on Friday. The latter was called BioHazard and the concept was freggin' brilliant: a place for refugees from a biological threat/bomb/etc. They had men in suits, alarms, lights, plasma screens with medical/scientific images and whatnot, all that jazz. :D So, I dressed differently both days: zombie schoolgirl and porcelain doll. There might be a costume party this weekend at a classmate's house, so I'll make something up and wear ANOTHER costume, lol.
I was going to post pics, but the blog is being a ho'. Just go to Facebook and check 'em out there instead. :P
